Deleting an Inventory Item will not affect any prior data or historical reporting. All those reports will continue to show revenue, sales, inventory history, etc. without disruption.

However, Molo does not take any automatic actions on Tracked inventory Quantity on Hand when you delete an item. In other words, if you're going to delete a tracked item, you should make a manual adjustment to ensure its QOH is 0.

Lastly, the Item Code from a deleted item cannot be re-used unless you contact our team to bring that item back again. If you want to use the Item Code in the future, you can edit the item to change its Item Code to something different.
