Resolution Steps
Due to both contractual restrictions in the payments industry as well as certain federal and state restrictions, we don't offer debit card surcharging as an option in order to limit our exposure and that of our customers. We recommend consulting your own legal counsel or tax advisor for more information.
Verification: Verify the client understands why surcharges cannot be applied to debit cards.
