• “What is Speedy Dock and how does it integrate with Molo?”
  • “How is the integration set up and what data flows between the two systems?”

  • What is Speedy Dock
SpeedyDock simplifies marina operations to save time on every launch, retrieval, and reservation. It allows boaters at dry storage locations to schedule a launch online.

  • How Account Managers Set Up
Setup instructions can be found in the internal documentation: Speedy Dock Setup Guide.
  • Data Flow Between Systems
    • For an Inventory Item to appear in SpeedyDock, it must be marked as Available as Addon in Molo.
    • For Contacts to sync, a cron job runs every 10 minutes to check and push updates from Molo.
  • Summary of Data Flow
The SpeedyDock integration with Molo reduces double entry by syncing key information between the systems.
    • From Molo to SpeedyDock (One-Way):
      • Customer Information
      • Boat Information
      • Boat Insurance Expiration Date (used to auto-apply a tag to block launching or show a message in SpeedyDock)
      • Boat Slip Assignments
    • From SpeedyDock to Molo (One-Way):
      • Invoices – ordered items from SpeedyDock are sent to the customer’s account in Molo for billing.
    • Sync Frequency: Molo sends over updated information every 10–15 minutes.
