When reading a meter that is tied to a Reservation, Molo will automatically create an Invoice for the net usage for the Default Electric Inventory Item. Please reach out to support@getmolo.com to set that default item. 



Reading the Meter (9 Seconds)

  1. From the Spaces Grid, click on the reservation you are looking for and select Read Meter on the drop down menu
  2. Enter the new meter reading.
  3. Note, if the starting reading is wrong, press Cancel and first do the "Entering an Updated Starting Reading" steps below to enter a correct starting reading.

  1. In Molo navigate to Menu --> Marina Settings --> Space Settings --> Pedestals.
  2. Search for and click on the pedestal.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Change the Current Electric Meter Reading.
  5. Press Done.

        *Updating the Meter Reading in Space and Resource Settings --> Pedestals will not create an invoice 



Fixing an Incorrectly Entered Meter Reading

  1. Go to Menu --> Reservations. Find the reservation and click it.
  2. Select the Billing tab.
  3. Press View --> Pay on the auto-generated invoice that is wrong.
  4. Press Actions --> Void Invoice.
  5. Follow the steps above to Enter an Updated Starting Reading. Enter the original starting reading.
  6. Repeat the Reading the Meter steps.
