Occasionally, you will find that a space is unavailable for selection for a new or existing reservation. 


The Maximum Dimensions determine is a space is available to be selected during the Reservation creation process or when selecting Move Vessel. If the Length, Beam or Draft of a Vessel is larger than the Maximum Dimensions, that space will not show as available for a new reservation or when using the Move Vessel button.


The Recommended Dimensions only show a soft warning when creating a Reservation but will not prevent a Reservation from being created or moved.



Changing the Dimensions or Availability of a Space

 

Problem Description

  • "I’m trying to book or move a vessel, but a space isn’t appearing as available even though it seems free."
  • "How do I edit my space dimensions?"

Resolution Steps

  1. To Change the Maximum Dimensions of a Space:
    1. Go to Marina Settings → Space Settings → Spaces.
    2. Select the space in question, then click Edit at the top of the screen.
    3. Scroll to the Maximum Dimensions section and make your updates.
    4. Click Done to save.
  2. To Activate or Deactivate a Space:
    1. Navigate to Marina Settings → Space Settings → Spaces.
    2. Select the space and click Edit.
    3. Toggle the Active setting On or Off to enable or disable its availability for reservations.
    4. Spaces marked as Inactive are hidden from the Spaces page and unavailable for use.

Verification: The new sizes should show up on the grid. If making a space inactive, it should disappear from the grid.
